Free Web Pages on the Internet

The (obvious) first step in establishing your presence on the World Wide Web is to secure a server to contain your page(s).
If you are anything like me, you're also not going to want to pay for this space. Lucky for everyone, several companies offer free space to non-commercial users. All they ask is that you follow some very simple rules and include a link (basically an ad) to their main site in your page.
I obtained my own site from my personal favorite, GeoCities. They get my recommendation and are definately worth checking out.
Note: This list does not contain any free servers that require you to e-mail your page(s) to them to be published. I feel that this method is outdated and no longer workable. I regret any difficulties this may cause you, but browser uploading and FTP are much more simple and also work in a fraction of the time.
